TERRORISM: the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.

RESISTANCE: an underground organization of a conquered or nearly conquered country engaging in sabotage and secret operations against occupation forces and collaborators. For example, Italian and French Resistance against the NAZI occupation of those countries.

ONE OF THE GREATEST...

A few days ago media and commentators all over the world were so busy to report the death of a former US President that they missed entirely the story of the death of one of the worst terrorists and war criminals of the 20th Century.

SIMPLE QUESTIONS

"It's hard to imagine how the commission investigating the 2001 terrorist attacks could have put it more clearly yesterday: there was never any evidence of a link between Iraq and Al Qaeda, between Saddam Hussein and Sept. 11. Now President Bush should apologize to the American people, who were led to believe something different."

SIMPLE QUESTIONS: Does The New York Times care for the tens of thousands of innocent lives brutally killed by the US and its allies? Shouldn't The New York Times ask Mr. War-Criminal-Bush to apologize first to those who are the first victims of the US Government atrocities? Shouldn't The New York Times apologize as well to the American people for its outrageous coverage of this entire travesty?

ONCE UPON A TIME...

“We come to Iraq with respect for its citizens, for their great civilization and for the religious faiths they practice. We have no ambition in Iraq, except to remove a threat and restore control of that country to its own people.”

CHARADE

Will journalists allow Blair to get away with yet another charade? Or will they ask why Article 7 of the statute of the International Criminal Court, to which Britain is a signatory, is not being invoked? This makes clear that British and American behaviour in Iraq is categorised under "crimes against humanity", for which the ultimate responsibility lies, as ever, at the top.
