Lebanon has Not become Democratic, it always held such values, but now it's free to exercice it since the last Syrian soldier left the 29 years of Dominance over its little neighbor today. I see Lebanon as a Role model for many Arab nations to follow.
Finally now that Lebanon is free from occupation, it's the Lebanese turn to prove of their country worthiness.
If Lebanese did not act by themselves to build their country's economy and prove that they can live on their own in this dangerous area of Middle East.
It is now Muslims and Christians turn to agree that Lebanon is their final country and that they should co-govern this little Middle East state
Well if you ask me the word "irony" was created to describe this situation. It is Ironic that Mr.Bush would have the balls to pretend that he fihts for lebanon's independance, but isn't it also ironic that the war against Iraq was in the name of peace and democracy?! It is ironic that the lebanese people would agree to put there hands in the americans' hand to push the syrian away after 30 years of sadistic comploy against the lebanese people, but isn't also ironic that the liberation of lebanon had only came from this bizarre cooperation?! Let's face it, today america is today's ally, we should cooperate with it, but let's not forget that this is OUR country no matter what happens only we can really set it free and create independance, so we better start working for it ASAP.

hezbolah does not really represent the people of lebanon do they? why is the media free to make the association between the two? Israel is bombing a democratically elected free country and its infrastructure which hezbohal does not own or maintain. I feel its a real sad state of affairs..
I kind of relate this to lets say the hells angels in canada abducting 2 american sheriffs and the US having to bomb canadian bridges, airports and infrastructure to defend itself... There is so much more sinister in what they are bombing in Lebanon as the infrastructure being affected will put that country back 30 years of progress.
I hate how everyone is saying the terrorist are being armed by Iran (they may be).. but the comparison is akin to firing muskets against M16's hmmm well where did the Israeli get their Patriot Missiles and laser guided bombs from?

The world watches and talks, doing nothing as Hezbollah and Israel fight. Israel retaliates against Hezbollah's stupidity by crushing Lebanon back into the stone age. It is innocent Lebanese people who suffer from this vicious response that is far from measured or specifically targeting Hezbollah.
We now witness a great crime against humanity, perpetrated by the nation of Israel, which ought to know a thing or two about humanity.

You can't use the Hell's Angels analogy because the Angels have not been committing bombings and other acts with the stated pupose "to destroy America". But I live in areas where the Angels have "clubhouses", and if it became known that they were bombing and targetting innocent women & children as the terrosists do, there would be a civilian upraor and civilians would probably take action of there own. Until now we have seen terrorists hijack planes, blow themselves up to kill civilians or even crash into buildings to cause mass killings. What we have never seen before is a terrorist organization that has an arsenal of short range missiles that wouldn't shame any army. If Hizbullah will not be shattered at the end of this war, this will give dawn to an age in which terrorist groups will terrorize civilians using long-range missiles durty bombs and chemical weapons ... These are the new standards set for terrorist orginizations now ... Therefore the time for hypocrisy and bleeding hearts is over, and the time for action has finally come.

Once again the world is forced to believe what US and Israel wanted to say. Once again they act as "Good guys" and rest all who do not share their thoughts as "Bad guys". No international urles are applicable to them whereas they want to force others to comply every rules. These all acts are leaving a question "Who terrorise whom ? ". I've read the comments, and I can't understand why others can't see how dangerous these muslem extremists are to the rest of the world. Their goal is to force everyone around the world to convert to radical Islam and live like an Arab lived two thousand years ago. We are speechless when looking at the atrocities. But even worse than the bombs are the lies and false inforamtion we receive about the real situation. It is easy to call an organization "terrorist", and organization that has build more hospitals and schools and involved into Lebanese political as a democratic party for several years. Hezbollah is by no means radical islamic, it has agreed to the sharing of political power in lebanon with other Christians parties for the sake of Lebanon. The only problem with hezbollah is that it never agreed to disarm its militia as long as the bombs and war-planes of Israel threatens Lebanon. Ever since its withdrawal from lebanon in 1982 and 1990, Israel has continued to attack Lebanese ground, blowing up electric power stations, overfling the country almost daily with their war planes. Is it a surprise that Hezbollah found great support among the people of Lebanon for their attitude? But, sure, for the US and for Israel, this gives enough reason to call them terrorists and to attack lebanon and killing hundreds, and destroying homes of thousands, and to almost erasing Lebanon from the world map.

i feel the arabs should sign peace with israel. the only way to punish the jewish community is to sign peace with israel on every front. the jewish economy survives on donation and military salaries, factory, etc.... once peace has settled the israel economy will start suffering since israel will have to come up with jobs to replace the donations and the military spending that obviously is drying since nobody will need weapons.
fighting israel is easy just do not use weapons and use the language of money instead.

If you dont want to get hit by Israeli bombs stop hiding Hezbollah missles, unless you really are trying to help them.
