The brain function of Intellectual Conservative. Which brain function?
Dear Andrew Walden,
CC. Dear Editors of Intellectual Conservative,
I have read with great interest your fascinating piece, Anti-Globalization Movement joins Jihad vs mc World published on Intellectual Conservative
I thank you warmly for the great honor to include my name with the following: Tariq Ali, John Berger, Noam Chomsky, Eduardo Galeano, Naomi Klein, Harold Pinter, Arundhati Roy, José Saramago, Howard Zinn, Cindy Sheehan, Ramsey Clark, Tony Benn, Alexander Cockburn, Curtis Doebbler...
Your composition is so full of mistakes I believe is behind repair. However I would kindly ask you to correct just one which is easily provable: my name is not Gabrielle Zampani but Gabriele Zamparini. And I am a boy, not a girl, as you could easily check it out from my photo and my brief CV posted on my “delicately-named blogsite www.thecatsdream.com”
The following paragraph “...Italian “documentary” filmmaker Gabrielle Zampani created the eight-part series from her postings on her delicately-named blogsite www.thecatsdream.com. Does she think...” must therefore be corrected into “...Italian “documentary” filmmaker Gabriele Zamparini created the eight-part series from his postings on his delicately-named blogsite www.thecatsdream.com. Does he think...”
Note to the Editors of Intellectual Conservative:
- David Amodio, of New York University, writing in the journal Nature Neuroscience, says conservatives were found to be "more structured and persistent in their judgments"; in tests they had "higher average scores" on measures of the personal need for "order, structure and closure". Liberals showed "higher tolerance of ambiguity and complexity", Brain type may dictate politics, The Guardian
- “Conservatives, however, were less flexible, refusing to deviate from old habits "despite signals that this ... should be changed.", Homo politicus: brain function of liberals, conservatives differs, AFP
Kind regards,
Gabriele Zamparini

REPLY FROM ANDREW WALDEN:
Mr Zamparini,
Thank you for the correction, I will include the change in any future articles and will inquire with IC about changing the on-line text.
Since you seem to have an interest in pop psychology, you may want to read this article by Dr. Limbaugh.

BTW, Osama bin-Laden in his Sept 6 video asked you and your cohort to sign up with al-Qaeda. Now that Saddam is dead, you may need a new master. What is your response to his invitiation?

REPLY TO ANDREW WALDEN
Dear Mr Andrew,
Yes, Iraq’s president Saddam Hussein was assassinated after a lynching-trial organized by the Bush junta. He was one of the more than one million Iraqis your government slaughtered thanks to the propaganda coming from human beings like you who seem absolutely indifferent to any ethical standard.
Can you still sleep at night?
With compliments,
Gabriele Zamparini
PS Please, publish our exchange in its integrity on your website and on Intellectual Conservative website. Thanks.
REPLY FROM ANDREW ALEXANDER, CO-EDITOR INTELLECTUAL CONSERVATIVE
I will make the proposed changes. Also, I'm pleased to be alerted to the
possiblity that political orientation is a product of genetic heritage, this
sounds like Nobel-prize winning stuff, maybe we can get a documentary on the
subject.
